crescendo hairpin with text

Hi,

I'm typesetting some Wagner and he uses crescendo and diminuendo hairpins with the text inside.

With a markup and adding extra-offset I got a satisfying graphical result but wouldn't it be possible to have a command? I'm afraid it has to be programmed in scheme and I'm definitely not a crack in that thing. Could some LilyPond-pro try to make a simple command like /crescWithText?
