Watch out for the correct version - your code is 2.16 but the manual is 2.17, and a lot has changed between those versions. I'm not even sure if the "\omit" command actually existed in 2.16. I also think, the C-style "dot-notation" didn't existin 2.16.

And one more thing: there's a difference in spacing between *hiding* and *removing* something ... make sure you use the right one.

    Hello,
    We are writing a book about Harmony with my friend. At the begining

    are the step extentions.
    I want to hide the Time Signature (8/1). But I can not.
