The only guidance in Gould is where she writes "Repeat 3 times" in a horizontal bracket.

It'd be better with the text at the beginning or end of the passage.
My personal favorite, however, is putting the measures in a large
horizontal bracket labeled "3x."

Do you have example code for that?

It is interesting that if the passage had alternative endings the repeats, 3x, 4x, or whatever would be easily represented, but I do not see notation for expressing plain 3x, 4x, repeats with bars. There has to be a convention I believe.
