If you want to squeeze a piece, changing stem length/direction is not the best idea IMO. You have better options: 1) use page-count = #1 in paper block, or 2) use system-system-spacing #'minimum-distance = #9 in paper block (try to play with numbers), or 3) \override Score.SpacingSpanner #'spacing-increment = #1 Karol
