Thank you for your reply.
My limited experience with the computer language for commands suggests two
things.
1. The command requires a " = t."  It should be tieWaitForNote = t.
2. Commands can contain other symbols, "\," " ' (apostrophe), " and " #. "
Should any of these be included.
