Kurt Stone's book mentioned similar irregular divisions in pp. 114.
However, that would fall into two categories:
(1) If grouping is irregular, It would be denoted 8/8, and rhythm is
entirely determined by beaming.
(2) Composite meters like 3/8+5/8
Neither is commonly seen.
