Ah, after a further search I found that it's a known issue: https://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1129 with a workaround by Neil Puttock: http://www.mail-archive.com/address@hidden/msg16599.html Though this function appears to preserve the fonts requested but not the staff sizes. -- Hilary
