stem comflict

Hello,

 

In the attached file, Stem Up Lower.ly, the stems are correctly aligned.

When the pitches are raised an octave (where they should be), Stem Up Upper.ly, the stems conflict.

 

What must I do to get the upper version have the same stem alignment as the lower?
