Quick Repeats

Hi List,

Iḿ looking for a way of making quick repeats of small fragments (not tremolos) without having to input the whole \repeat function.

I don't know if theres already a threat with these topic.

for example:

a4 r a r a r a r

with the function '\repeat' would be

\repeat unfold 4 {a4 r}

in the end I write the same or more characters than repeating the secuence.

But if it could be done just by...

{a4 r}*4

Wouldn't be great?
