I think tupletSpannerDuration isn't even necessary anymore. You can write \tuplet 3/2 4 now to have 3/2 tuplets with a "tupletSpannerDuration" of a quarter note. That means you have to write the \tuplet only once.I'm not sure when this was introduced (also the \tuplet command), but it's in 2.18 at least.
