One more comment which may help avoid any unnecessary boiling up of
discussion:

I'm not sure if I 100% agree with all of Sharon's design decisions, and
if we had had more discussion I might have tried to convince him of a
few things (starting with the choice of language).
But: it was him who actually started to work on this. And without this
we wouldn't even have anything to nitpick about.
