Midi doesn't build correctly from version 2.12

Hi,

I am making some modifications to a old score build originally with lilypond 2.12.
The same versione with lilypond 2.18 build graphically correctly, with no errors, but the midi is very corrupted.

Also, I can build the score only if I comment the line \midi { }

When I add the line \midi { }, the score doesn't build but it exports the midi file really quickly instead.

Does someone know any clue I could be directed to?
