You can try to change its dimensions, e.g.:

ppSottoVoce = \markup
\with-dimensions #'(0 . 0) #'(0 . 2)
\concat\whiteout  {
  \dynamic pp \normal-text \italic ", sottovoce"
}

Hi all,

I’m trying’ to find a solution to deactivate the horizontal spacing property of dynamic text in a Grand staff and allows it to cross the barline without losing its dynamic script nature.
