I'd say the program is very stable, if it actually runs.
I can't speak about the "released" version, but those who run it from 
source (i.e. the Git repository) - including me - have reported various 
dependency/compatibility issues.

I'm not completely sure about the process of setting up the program from 
a release, but if that's not too complicated I suggest to simply try it 
out, and if it works it will work well.
