While that works quite well, it’s not as reliable as defining (device 
dependent) CMYK colors. You would need to define your RGB and CMYK color spaces 
(profiles), knowing what you do.

E.g. that you can be sure to get some tones exactly right. (Relying on the 
default color spaces of European or US printshops – Euroscale vs. SWOP...)
Even if it’s not about matching some company color, with small details like 
notation you might want to make sure to get e.g. exactly 50% tones or only two 
process colors etc.
