Hi Rohan,

Hi all,

I am tying two chords together. Is it possible to have the top tie be above the note and the bottom tie to be below?

Generally this should be the case. That is, if you are in \oneVoice mode. If you instead have a first or second voice (i.e. \voiceOne or \voiceTwo) then all ties go up or all go down.

i.e. When I use _~ the tie is below both notes and vice versa for ^~

You can also use the direction parameter individually for the chord notes:

<c' _~ e'^~ g'_~ c''_~> q

HTH
Urs

Thanks in advance
