When placing chord names on a lead-sheet, sometimes a slash ( / ) is used on subsequent measures or beats to indicate repeating the previous chord. How can this be done in lilypond?
Well there was a suggestion in 2012 http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2012-02/msg00417.html I don't know if anything came of this. But basically you arrange for chordnames where you want the slashes and then override these chordnames with \once \override ChordNames.ChordName.text = "/" And instead of just "/" you can use a more convincing markup: draw a diagonal line, or go the whole hog like http://lsr.di.unimi.it/LSR/Item?id=908 Cheers, Robin
