I haven't used S5 but can you check application info for linphone app and see if there are some preferred data settings?

The Note 5 works without a hitch, but the Galaxy S5 will only connect to the sip server when the WIFI is turned off.  If it is on when the app is opened it says Registration failed: Network Error. 

 

Is there an issue with the way WIFI is setup on this phone specifically? 

 

The Note 5, which works, is on the same carrier. T-mobile and using the same Sip Server.
