Oops, never mind.  I see now that the e-mail is indeed in the
help-libidn mailing list archive.  However, it hasn't arrived to the
gmane.org libidn newsgroup.  I suspect this was a gmane.org or gnu.org
mail delivery problem, and not something you did.  Sorry!
