Should I be using wx-2.8 for this new branch? Currently
we're using wx-2.7 as of 2006-12-04 for production and
I'm getting this compiling error when I try building
the branch:

The referenced lines of code appear to be new, so I 
wonder if you might have any insight that could help
me get through this.
