It did eventually show up on my corporate email account, so my ISP
is the problem.

OTTH, asking others to run various sets of commands and then,
depending on their outcome, to run various other sets of
commands, becomes an imposition as the command-sets grow.
Therefore, I've moved all that stuff into a script:

commit a8e0d0258afe16d334d824226503849645749a6f
Author: Gregory W. Chicares <address@hidden>
Date:   2017-11-12T23:40:22+00:00

    Replace complex manual commands with a script

 check_git_setup.sh | 55 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
 gwc/develop2.txt   | 37 +++++--------------------------------
 2 files changed, 60 insertions(+), 32 deletions(-)

Would you mind taking a look and telling me if that script
needs improvement? (You might prefer not to run it yourself
because you have your own personal git hooks that you want
to keep, but I've run it myself and will ask Kim to also.)
