The additional empty curved boxes below figures were a bug
introduced quite recently when I added hyperlinks to the
standard packages.  I've now fixed this bug for the next
release, but at the cost of having these links now point
to the last page of any figure, rather than the first.

A better solution would be to correct a known defect in
the Lout interpreter, its failure to respect the "u"
tag (as in //0iu) when it separates the first component
of a galley from the second.  The empty curved box is
caused by an empty first component of the figure galley,
which actually contains the hyperlink information, getting
separated from the figure proper; if the defect were
corrected, then the "u" tag could be used to prevent this
separation from occurring.  But correcting this defect
would be quite difficult and time-consuming, so I've
chosen not to attempt it this time around.
