Thanks for explantation. I stil doesnt underestand anything. It is
because I have not time to learn lout. Only when I need something
too much I found a time to look at lout.
What I am trying now is wrote noweb backend for typeseting in lout.
It partially works but the output is very hideous. But I got something
what can be printed.

What I need for the first is a gray scale. I do not use color printer
too much. It is color independent and I wote to implement it first
before RGB and CMYK color models.

This needs to write really big database of colors.
No, I will say no word to this. I know that colors are a big science
which I do not underestand. I am working in printing works company and
know very little about the color systems. But I know it is a big science.
( I am a computer network administrator and have nothing to do with
the printing, except the laser printers of course :)
To the patches:
I am not very happy while modifying lout "system" files. I am afraid
that while upgrading in future to newer version of lout I lost accidentally
my changes to these files. Also if I give my source to others they are
uncompilable without saying which patches to lout I was using a giving
that patches with source too.
