Calling galleys in @Figure

There seems to be some sort of caveat for calling objects that place
galleys from within @Figure; every time I do so, I get the error
"galley @X deleted (never attached)" (where @X is the object
indirectly called from within @Figure) for each time @X is called.

Is there a way around this, or a way to achieve the same effect
without @Figure?
