Presumably if you change the -1 to whatever the decimal code
for tab is, you'll get rid of the message - but then there
will be tab characters inside the PostScript output file, and
you will have to worry about what they print as.  You can
convince Lout that tab characters are any width you like by
fiddling with the WX and B numbers on that line, but if your
PostScript previewer/printer does not agree, strange things
could happen.

I usually pipe my stuff through "detab" or whatever it's
called these days - "expand" - except for programs, where
prg2lout looks after tabs.
