Not really.  You could look at the other document types,
i.e. @Document and @TechReport.

Lout's PostScript output is very regular.  I believe you just
want to delete everything from the first %%Page comment line
inclusive to the second %%Page comment exclusive.  But check
the PostScript first.

Not with the @Book style, but have a careful read of
Section 3.1 of the User's Guide and you should find a
way to do it (there may be a few bugs in that area, but
try it and see).  Read the *whole* section carefully.

This sort of thing (using styles in a way very different
from what was intended) rarely pays off in Lout.  But no,
you can't get an appendix before the chapters, and even
if you physically rearranged the pages, the page numbers
would be wrong.
