[Ltib] how to prevent /etc/inittab to be overwritten during kernel compilation |

Hi everybody,
I' affording the following issue:
---> I need to customize /etc/initab in order to have an application started
at boot time.
---> I need to use a romfs file system.
The problem is that the deploy phase of the kernel compilation
( ./ltib -m scdeploy -p kernel-2.6.17.7-uc1.spec)
overwrites the /etc/inittab file with some sort of default one.
How can I prevent this behaviour?
I would greatly appreciate any help
Thanks in advance
Claudia
