Hi Alex,
You need to install some host components first, see:

Basically:
$ ./ltib –hostcf -p eet.spec
$ ./ltib –hostcf -p embryo.spec
$ ./ltib –hostcf -p evas.spec
$ ./ltib –hostcf -p ecore.spec
$ ./ltib –hostcf -p edje.spec
The startup instructions are out of date, all you need to do is 'startx'
last time I tried.
