Hi Nirmala,

I don't think it's talking about a .so, it's a kernel module .ko complaining about a reference to __floatunsisf. My understanding is that floating point operations are not allowed in kernel modules/sources.

For more help on this you'll need to post on a suitable kernel mailing list, or otherwise get support.

Regards, Stuart

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for the clarification on addressing the e-mail list.

The below error is generated while linking because there is no
associated .so is found , i wonder if I'm missing that particular .so in
in the kernel build ?

Any suggestion would be of great help.

Thank You
Nirmala

Hi Nirmala,

Please email the list and not me, you don't need to CC me as I'm on the list.

This is a kernel, not an LTIB question. It look as though you have some floating point calls in ac49x_dsp, which are not allowed in kernel mode.

Hi Stuart,
I built new driver package using Ltib on kernel 2.6.25 file system for PowerPC MPC82xx processor from Savanna site a month ago.

Now i'm in enhancement process of this new package but got below waring message.
