Hi Thorsten,

Do you mean the source content you're trying to build? If so, then no, so long as the tarball/zip file includes a leading directory of some sort. By convention though (and a good idea), the source tarball/zip would normally
be named package-version.ext and unpack into a directory: package-version

Hi Stuart,
thanks, that link is good help.
My next question is : Does the package need a certain directory/file structure ?

Hi Thorsten,

There's some documentation here: http://ltib.org/documentation-LtibFaq
http://ltib.org/documentation-LtibFaq#ref_89) and also some more in the
doc directory of the distribution.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
we use ltib-mpc8308erdb-20100413.
In this version, gcc cant be built.
But the cross-gcc for building the distro works.
So we want to add our own software to that ltib.
Is there some documentation which describes, how to add custom packages
to ltib ?
