[lwip-devel] QoS over RT-Linux

Hi friends,
I am newbie to the lwip.
past few months i spent on studying/porting of rsvpd(rel 4.2 of ISI) on 
rtlinux.
traffic control(QoS) part is not implemented in rt linux(rtl3.2 pre3).
for this i have two choices ..
either implement tc part  in rt-kernel(from scratch )as a module.
or port the tc(included in linux 2.4.20) in rtkernel.

can u suggest me how i can proceed ..
as the code written for linux is using netlink sockets (nRT).I have to 
implement it using rtfifos.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be a great start.
