As you can see I've been through the bug and task lists to mark those
things that should be completed before we make our next release.

I agree that given the number of changes we've made a release would be
wise to stop users being tempted to run the CVS version.  In an ideal
world I'd prefer to get all the other changes planned done and hold out
till 2.0, but that will happen in due course.

Of great importance is improving the documentation, in particular of
what has changed since 1.2.0, and the long standing need for a better
guide to lwIP and thread safety (which is now greatly improved thanks to
a lot of the changes you've put in recently).
