Follow-up Comment #9, task #7213 (project lwip):

When I use tcpip_init, I implement something just like I posted in the Wiki:

When I made that comment earlier, I had imagined that lwip_init would do all
that semaphore stuff and make its own __tcpip_init_done function. But, I
didn't think that there could be other possibilities for tcpip_init's
initfunc. What have you guys seen?
