Follow-up Comment #33, task #6861 (project lwip):

Thanks for this Simon. I see the solution to using IP_HLEN or not is to just
drop it if there are options - that's fair enough :). At least it's obvious
what's going on.

The only thing is that I couldn't see any change to discard the oldest
fragments when reassembling (otherwise we get the situation where we can't
reassemble anything new either, so no reassembly will happen until the
reassembly timer has timed out).

I realise it may not be done straight away, but in that case, I would like
this task to be left open, not to be considered done.
