Follow-up Comment #14, bug #27049 (project lwip):

I have verified that with my router, if a DHCP discovery is started, any DHCP
processing from the same MAC address is aborted.  Therefore, I think there is
no point in processing old DHCP offers because the router treats the ACK as
invalid.
