Follow-up Comment #1:
To implement this satisfactingly, the netconn API has to be changed:
netconn_accept() has to return an err_t instead of the connection pointer.
Together with bug #27709 (conn->err race condition on netconn_recv()
timeout), this will have to wait until 1.4.0.
