Follow-up Comment #9, bug #48300 (project lwip): To comment #7: Does the waste of memory really matter? We pad each pool _element_ to MEM_ALIGNMENT - which means we waste NumberOfElements*(MEM_ALIGNMENT/2) in the average case anyway.
