Hmm, good point... however, DNS seems more widely used (and standardized) than
ARP table access.

Not necessarily. I just don't want us to make the same mistake with a new API.
But if you find the time, why not add this to the old API (probably as a new
function). I'm not sure how the "delete" call would behave though...
