Right
although I prefer tabs lwIP seems to take the 2 spaces 
approach.Since it's a matter of indent -kr -i 2 here it's OK.
As a matter of fact I just tried that on the code I wrote and was
surprised how lwip-ish it looks like :)
So converting the whole tree is just running indent on all of it...

OK the static var issue is somewhat clearer now too :)
