Follow-up Comment #2, bug #43951 (project lwip):
What confuses me is that echop opens an interface and calls tcp_listen() but
connections are refused on that interface, while simhost, for example, starts
on 192.168.0.2 and accepts ping requests on the same ip.
When I check the route table while running echop, it seems to send the
corresponding packets to tap0, as expected. I couldn't get why a host side tap
configuration may be necessary
