I've forward this as the author was having troubles using the mailing list. Is there anything we (Leon?) can do to allow them to post?

Kieran

Hello Kieran,

I am subscribed to the mailinglist but I am having great problems to send mails
to the list (because of the reverse dns check).
Thats why I decided to send this mail to you directly.

Here's a copy of the mail I wanted to send to the list:

First of all I would like to say that I have successfully ported the lwIP stack
to the ST20 platform,
which required some modification in the sources (because the ST20 is a 32bit
cpu, so 16/32bit access should be properly aligned).
(I use a CS8900A ethernet chip in 8bit mode, using polling, and have a
througput of ~320kbyte/sec)

I am a good programmer, but not a C wizzard, so most likely my modifications are a little
"rough", but it works for me.
If some people are interested in the code/modifications then let me know.

Everything seems to work pretty well, but I am having problem receiving some
data on some (special?) occasion.
I get an error that the tcp checksum of the frame is wrong and so it is dropped.

I have written a test app which calc's the tcp checksum and I get the same
value as lwip does, so where is the problem?
Could it be possible for me to send the tcp frame to you (to the list) and that
somebody can recalc the csum to see where it goes wrong?

Thanks for your support (in advance)

Rgs Bonny,
