[lwip-users] anonymous cvs access

Hi,

 

I am trying to get the latest contrib files using the following cvs command:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:address@hidden:/sources co contrib

But after some time I get the following error

cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to cvs.savannah.nongnu.org:2401 failed: A connec
tion attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a
 period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has fai
led to respond.

I tried a telnet cvs.savannah.nongnu.org 2401 but was not able to connect. Is the port number, that cvs is using, correct? What else could be wrong?

 

I am using CVSNT on a Windows XP machine.
