I assume the product you describe is some sort of soft core.
If it was an ARM, I would put a breakpoint at the exception vector, and
trace the registers back to the offending instruction. I suppose you can
do something similar, that's what exceptions are for.
I remember Simon telling you to look for help on your product forums,
that is not an lwIP bug, that is a port/driver problem and you should
ask there.
