That is correct, but there has been a flurry of traffic lately about
handling it. The main problem seems to be the number of cookies a
browser is required to support (300 at a size of 4k each - that's a
lot of memory!).
Keep your eyes peeled, something may come along in a patch for 2.6 (which
you should probably upgrade to - it's pretty easy. Take a look at
lynx.browser.org for information on where to get it).
