Hello, I was wondering how you choose what page you would like
to see when you first see lynx come up.

You can tell lynx where you want it to start at the time you
start it by giving a place to start as part of the command line
that starts the program.
This is described in the User's Guide. Search with '/' for
startfile.
For a default setting -- where Lynx will go if there is no startfile
on the command line -- you can use an environment variable in the
operating system (described in the User's Guide) or a command in
lynx.cfg .
What to do in lynx.cfg is described in comments in that file. Also
look in the FAQ -- do a '/' search for lynx.cfg .
The User's Guide is distributed with the program and the version for
Lynx 2.6 is installed as part of the H)elp system at Lynx links.
