Albert Woodbull asks about vanilla 2.6.
I am running 2.6 with no patches and no mods on Solaris, except for a
#include order change in the inews module, which isn't required.
Vanilla 2.6 will work, and I recommend it for a starting point.
You'll probably have to do some minor hacking to get it to install on
a new OS - share your patches with us. Once you've done that, then
start thinking about patches and mods.
