Yes, I ended up doing part of that.  The problem is that while the image
only uses 14 colors, it's not using the standard Windows pallette, and
Windows converts it to use the Windows pallette.  When I pulled the image
into Microangelo, it did the same thing it did on the desktop.  I finally
ended up creating a 256-color image and pulling the bmp file into THAT
image, and converting to the standard 256-color pallette, and then I
discovered that Windows wouldn't show me the high-color image... ARGH!  I
had to use Microangelo Engineer to set Windows to use high color bitmaps. 
I noticed some of my other icons improved as well... :) 

I've included my modified version in the form of an ICO file.  I wish
someone who's more artistic than I would take a look at the 16-color
version and see if it can be improved any. :)
