stop, and it just happens the strings are the right size.
Note that Gnuscape/w3 also has table support (in elisp).
Getting some tables right is easy. Getting all even with bad HTML, and
complex spanning and nesting is another matter. Especially without
horizontal scrolling - some tables will be wider than a lynx screen.
