1. HTML 3.2 compatible?
Is there something specific you have found missing? I think
the intention is for lynx to be HTML 3.0 compatible, which is a superset
of HTML 3.2. Read over the lynx-dev archives for more details.
2. Secure HTML?
Until an entity takes over development of lynx which can apply
for a munitions export license in the USA, or an entity outside the USA
takes over lynx, this can't, right now, occur due to USA laws.
However, if you check one of the SSLeay web site, you will see that
alternatives are available. Also, if you check the lynx web site, you
will see that alternatives for USA citizens are available.
