Again this doesn't cope with the general case, and would also result it
different handling of the same HTML inside and outside of the table.  It
would probably be completely confused by forms with embedded tables (despite
rumours to the contrary, they are allowed by the HTML (checked on a 4.0 
draft) DTD.

In fact, a proper external table processor would have to do everything that
Lynx would have to do if it were to fully support tables, including full
support of all body type HTML constructs, so why not just integrate the
processor into Lynx itself.

Lynx already has a partial table implementation (</td> and </th> ---> space 
and </tr> goes to <br>).  The argument is about the degree of partial 
implementation.
